I have th esame problem with my computer on duty.
I guess it is because of our firewall.
Normally you should be able to capture it, but I don't know the preferences
of different programms.
I know, that i.e. the older version of Netscape was not able to capture more
than one newsgroup at the same time, therefore I am using Outlook.
In Outlook I can have a lot of different servers and download the news at
the same time.
May be that is your problem.
