Andrew,
depending on the temperature it may take about 2-3 weeks for
Pseudomugil eggs to hatch so a month might not be all that long. Also
certain species seem to be not too generous with eggs, P. mellis and
gertrudae both seem to be somewhat stingy. Also, I have been told that P.
mellis seems to breed better after several months of cool weather
(seasonal). I am not too sure on mellis. However, the gertrudae that I
have worked on it is often impossible to find eggs (eventhough they were
spawning frequently).
