You assume correctly Adrian, the eggs from Ron would have been pure
Herberts. However in 1982 Coen Tris were being sold in the aquarium trade
in Melbourne as Herbertaxelrodi. Just how wide these species were
distributed or bred into existing Herbertaxelrodi stock (if indeed they
were?)is any ones guess. Its a bit like the multisquamatus that have been
circulated in recent years.(very questionable)!
However, I would want to know the family tree of any herbertaxelrodi before
I could accept that they are true herberts.
