Actually Phil the beetle has the name POPONDETTA and that's why the change to
POPONDICTHYS. But even the Popondicthys seems now to have been dropped. Allen's
new book simply refers to them as Pseudomugil Furcatus. There was some
discussion about whether they were sufficiently different from other
pseudomugils to warrant their own genus. Apparently not.
