I don't think that it is any type of tar. When Ron Bowman was in Canberra a
few months ago he emphasised the use of this particular type, 'ormonoid'
(sp??).

I have used it with no probs but at the time I was unsure of its toxicity so
the finished product went through multiple washes. I used expendable fish
like feeder goldfish & Convicts as 'guinea fish' for a month before I was
confident that it was inert.
