I don't really think this is a very great way of doing things. All you
do is inbreed each line more intensively by not mixing them. Killi folk
have a tendancy to count spots on fins and find differences. :-)

As Bruce mentioned ANGFA already has one. I drew it up many years ago
(which I have since modified a little). I doubt anyone else uses them other
than myself. I have several hundred of them from Oz and a growing number
US ones. I know Lawrie Barber had put some info together perhaps from
Qld but I have no idea what he ever did with it.

I'd tend to encourage preservation of specimens for deposit into museums
more than anything else. That way the data is a little more permanent
and doesn't go up in flames during the fish divorce. (You know, where
the wife says it's me or the fish and the fish invariably win).
