I do hate to say it but according to my notes on 3 seperate occasions I did have
the "grey egg" problem with Garys eggs. I can not recall not having this problem
ever with shipped eggs, some do better than others but it still happens. I have
had good luck with eggs on mopps but we could start another fight with this.

Now for what it is worth, I dont know why but...When I add our well water (Bong
water to you Australians) to the tray when I see that eggs should be hatching
but are not, it actually works so there is something in that "fresh" water that
I believe is a gass and it helps to soften the egg. For you killie breeders I
know you sometimes blow air from your lungs into the tray and that sometimes
works so maybe it is co2 that is the substance responsible. Good airation also
works well within the tray so maybe there is a shortage of oxy but whoo thhee
hheell knoowwwss...
