I haven't looked at incisus yet. But there is partial sequence on
genbank. I sequenced two fish from Gary, a pseudoincisus and a doryiti
which were both identical. The genbank incisus is very similar to both
(only differs by one base change which is pretty trivial). This all makes
sense if they are all geographically quite proximate. The nuclear
sequence data tells the same story with doryity and pseudo being identical
(nuclear stuff is pretty conservative though). All three species appear
most closely related to multisquamata and wanamensis (which are also
virtually identical as well). Of course, I don't have all of the species
sequenced, so there could be changes to all that. But that is the current
picture.
