Wow Gary you sure got a good shot on that one (Cohen)it looks great. In
fact I would say that it looks better than that fuzzy stuff the guys and
gals from the Land of OZ have on their page. Thanks I'll use it to make
some cards for you to pass around this week end to show those bait fish
raisers what real fish look like.
Are you aware of the fact that there are a group of people going to meet
in Saint Louis this weekend to discus the raising and culture of Bait fish,
that for the most part come from African ditches. I hear they are going to
have a sale of them on Saturday. I have also heard that some of these baits
sell for more than their weight in gold at an auction on Sunday.
It is amazing to watch all these guys sit around for hours discusing how
to raise a few baits for bass fishing. I've heard that they even have a guy
from Germany comming over to tell them about how he collects them in Africa
and takes them home to Germany and breeds them. There are people comming
from all over the US to hear him. (Is that big Horse shoe by the river a
magnet for bass fishermen.
On Monday there are a bunch of them going out into the wilds of Mo. to
look for bait sounds like they are going to get all wet.
I have heard that they call themselves the AKA (All Killers of America) or
somthing like that.
In Sept there is anouther group that is going to meet on the left coast of
the US in San Francisco. This group raises Bows anouther form of Bass bait
it is real colorful but does not live as long on the hooks as the African
baits but they for the most part are bigger and attract bigger BASS. The
bows are not as expensive as the ditch fish because of their short lifespan
on the hook. I have also heard that these guys drink a bar dry in an hour.
I think they are mostly beer drinkers. Wait until they try left coast wine!
Man will their heads hurt the next day.
