I recently started a new website to try and organize aquaria information
on the net and present it to hobbyists (new and old) in a manner that
makes the experience easier and even enjoyable for them. The site is
functional, but not complete. (If it ever will be!) My purpose is
basically to give them suggestions of great sites to visit and hope they
come back for more suggestions. I'm trying to link to especially
important pages within sites to eliminate digging by the user.
Sorry for the long lead-in this is the point: I would like to add a new
category: links to Fish/Egg Availability pages. If you currently
maintain a page that lists fish you have for sale, let me know and I'll
include it in the list. This is great exposure for you, saves me endless
searching, and hopefully puts others in a position to buy fish they
otherwise couldn't find. I will be adding other categories, if you have
other types of sites (freshwater only), let me know and I'll try and
work them in. I would like to have sites that are up-to-date; I update
weekly and would rather not link to stale sites. Within the next few
weeks, I plan to start doling out some Best of the Net awards to sites
that I especially find entertaining/educational. Hopefully you'll be
one!
Another way to promote your site: be a guest columnist! If you would
like to write a short article, I will include links and/or graphics from
your site on the page to encourage users to visit and check it out. The
article cannot be published elsewhere *on the net* and will remain on my
server. It will however, generate traffic to your site through mine.
