I can't help a bit. I have kept all of them at one time or another, but
didn't push the limits on conditions to (knowingly) find the end points.
Mellis and signifer weren't here for long, but IDK what I did wrong.
Probably poor stock to start, but I'm clever at devising ways to kill
defenseless little fish.
[Peter utilizes that talent nicely on his DSAC rampages against the evil
damnbusia!]
Right now, I have furcatus and gertrudae Giddy River, and they are doing OK
in my conditions. It has been over 27C in my tanks this week (some shoeboxes
were 31), and might get worse in Oct., Nov. during our "Indian Summer." My
tanks rarely get down to 20. [Gov. Davis has plans to fix that.]
Outdoor fish to me are Tanichthys, Macropodus, Simpsonichthys, and
Austrolebias species. The latter two can do nicely under ice, it seems.
