I can see it in their interest to do it, in that customers are less likely
to cross the original strains than to breed the fish at hand if they could.
That not only helps insure the integrity of the original species but helps
insure a market for the hybrid in that most customers would have to come
back to the shops and ultimately the producers.
If they do follow that procedure, I'm very impressed with their savvy and
regard for the original species. I guess my skepticism stems from some
experiences in American shops, especially chains.
