Hi Jim, which thread did you miss? There was one on where to line up for
free beer, another on 16 new species of Rainbowfish discovered in New
Guinea, and another on the Disease of the Week.
Only kidding ;)
It has been quiet, people only seem to have time to talk about other
people's disease problems.
I think the trick to starting a new thread and getting some discussion
going is to say something controversial and have some of the "drips under
pressure" disagree with one another. Here are some suggestions:
- "Rainbowfish are silly brainless things, Gobies are much better".
- "Hobbyists can't be trusted to maintain precious endangered species".
- "100 reasons why we shouldn't import Rainbows into Australia"
- Anything at all to do with bloody Bill and Monica (or anything to do with
politics at all, for that matter)
- "Such and such a breeder sells diseased hybrids"
- "Goldfish should be banned"
- "Trout bring in more tourist dollars than native fishes, so we should
keep restocking them"
- "I have a purple and green spotted Rainbowfish, what species is it?"
- "I think that Genus Melanotaenia needs to be reorganised again"
and so on.
You get the idea, I am sure you have seen enough of these kids of questions
posed on the list to make up a few of your own. :)
Cheers, Andrew
