I'm sure you have some "original inhabitant" names around your way too -
sometimes they get overlooked. I love aboriginal Australian place names but
some of those from the USA sound pretty good too e.g. Okefenokee Swamp etc
etc :-)
I guess upper and lower Bungawalbin become each other if you go far enough
in either an upstream or downstream direction :-)
As a corollary I am reasonably confident that Upper Bungawalbin and Lower
Bungawalbin Creeks do not exist :-)
