Jennifer,

Which river system is this Corindi Creek on?

They have been having some troubles in recent years in some N NSW streams with acid run off in periods of heavy rain, and some massive fish kills.

At first they were blaming the farmers, but one researcher a year or so back said they had apparently had to do some rapid backing down from that, as there appear to be natural outputs from some soils in the region which causes the water to foul and the oxygen content to crash.

It might be worth checking that out, as it might have some bearing on your RADical rhads.

If that is so, they might be fine in drier times.
