I work with plant parasitic nematodes and I agree with Adrian that they
don't feed on fish eggs. Turbatrix aceti is the scientific name for vinegar
eels and they feed on bacteria in the vinegar. If they have been observed to
be feeding on fish eggs, they were probably feeding on bacteria growing on
the surface of the eggs.
