Seeing everything in person was a million times better than any books
or Web pages I've seen. Seeing mops with eggs, and fry and baby brine
shrimp in tanks helped me see the scale of everything. From my naive
perspective getting to see many kinds of happy, quality Rainbowfish
really helped. Now I understand why everyone raves about the colors of
the Rainbowfish. Iridescent colors do not come across in photographs,
and they are all IRIDESCENT. Wow!
AF> If I ever make it to the US of A I would hope to see Cary and his
AF> magnificent setup...
The diversity and range of species was amazing. I can't remember half
of them. And Cary's offhand ease about breeding them impressed me. He
really has the knack for fishkeeping. And his planted tanks are
wonderful to look at, so he seems to have a bit of a green thumb as
well.
I also liked his 6 year supply of brine shrimp eggs. Or maybe that was
just a couple months' supply at the rate he uses them. ;-)
Hope you have a very nice day, :-)
