By the time you pay approx $6 each for 6 juvenile fish and add in the
cost of shipping you probably end up paying about $12 for each fish.
Now considering that you know where these fish came from and that
they are relatively rare and that shortly you will be able to produce
offspring of your own and considering that you MIGHT find these fish
once in a blue moon in a retail outlet and if you did you'd pay around
$25 a pair for fish that came from who knows where, then you are
getting a GREAT deal. Plus when you buy these young fish you're
going to have some pretty fish to look at a lot sooner that if you hatch
eggs!!;-)
Let's face it these fish are rare and if you want to keep only the best
stock you possibly can, then this is the price range your going to have
to pay. You do have alternatives as mentioned above. The choice is
yours but I think you ( that is, all of us who want to keep bows), get
exactly what you pay for.
This reply is designed to show that when you buy a rainbow from
a known RSG/ANGFA/IRG source, you are getting a quality fish. That
right there should be worth something to you/us.
