Yesterday Norbert Grunwald, the editor of the "Rainbowfish" magazine,
visited me and told me, that he again had eggs from his scats.

He is keeping the fish in a plant house. The normal temperature is 22°C,
however, after partial water changes it drops down to 17-18°C. However,
when we have sunny days the temperature goes up to 30°C. This has been
the case in the last weeks at some days. Result: Six eggs. That doesn't sound
much, however, the fish are rather old (they are born in 1994!) and Norbert
hasn't had eggs for more than half a year.

Some time before he already had changed the diet. Less brine shrimps, more
bloodworm pieces and Daphnia. The fish became more slender and are
maybe in a better condition.

As today we again have a sunny day - maybe Norbert gets some more eggs.
This might help us to build up a new stock here in Europe as these are the
last spawning scats in Europe - as far as Norbert and I know.
