The word was that at a special summit meeting in Tasmania the leaders of
both Victoria and Queensland, with many a muttered imprecation to the
"Godless Commies", planned to rid Australia of the vice-ridden and corrupt
state of New South Wales (and since it contained the humanist cesspool of
the ACT, all the better!) as soon as possible, and to join the two "right
thinking" eastern Australian mainland states. The ensuing utopia would be
no doubt free of all police and political corruption, and the future
citizens of Australia would thank the descendants of the
dictators-in-perpetuity at least 5 times a day. ;)
