It could also be the TB form of "ulcers". Fish also bloat from that. I have
NEVER cured a rainbow with bloat, whether it be from TB or other type of
disease. Toss it and then think about what may have caused it. ie not enough
water changes, stress from other fish in the tank etc. A lot of times you can
trace it back to that. If you have fairly soft water 150 ppm GH (or probably
more telling a KH of less than 3 degrees, 54 ppm) or less your fish can get
ulcers much quicker unless you are doing pretty good water changes.
