Has anybody seen the photograph in the June issue of tfh. The fish farmers
show pics have a "Pacific Blue-Eye Rainbow" that has really bright orange
dorsal, anal, caudal, pecs, not the "normal" nice yellow with just a tip of
orange. Has anyone seen these all orange finned fish before or is this
something that they may have bred for or maybe added enough hormones to to get
them completely orange? Was something ever collected that started with all
orange fins? Unfortunately it's not a very good shot but you can certainly get
the idea that this isn't your normal furcata. When Greer does these photos he
dumps in a bottle of "tranquel" or whatever and the fish just sort of sits
there. Doesn't help rainbow or blue-eye deportment very much.
