One thing I discovered is that we put a fair bit of stuff onto the list,
540kb of text is a lot. The odd thing is that we've topped the 400 kb mark
so far this month - it's going to be a monster! (Not that I'm complaining,
mind!) I hope that it's OK for all concerned for the archived postings to
be zipped (PKZip 2.04g, FWIW) as I don't have enough room with my ISP for
500-1000kb a month of unzipped text to go on for very long, but zipping it
makes it manageable (one day we'll have a nice FTP site, I'm sure, and it
won't be a problem, or someone who has a couple of days a month to cut all
the delivery info off each posting.
