I see the info was provided. I have Untergasser and the Bassleer books, and
while the photos are excellent, many of the recommended treatments are
either not available in the US or are not as effective as what we have
here. One of the great things about Noga's book is the section,
Pharmacopeia. It is a compilation of both standard treatments and the most
current thoughts on treating disease, with information about many
chemicals.
It also goes into detail about the life cycles of many parasites. I find it
indispensable, and I have practically every serious fish disease book
published in English there is.
If you are seriously interested in parasites, I highly recommend Woo's
_Fish Diseases and Disorders Volume 1: Protozoan and Metazoan Infections_.
It is published by CAB International and is $185.00 US.
I just discovered that Volumes 2 & 3 are due out in September and October,
respectively.
