Hi, Dan here... I had a tentative order with you about some
trifasciata mops and such, but I think you went somewhere, then
something happened here, and now a vacation in August kind of puts
a damper on that. At least until late August.
I don't trust my fish sitter with fry, but I do trust her with
2" fish (nearly all of mine are between 1 and 2"). I'm not
planning on going to the ACA, mainly because I know very little
about cichlids, and work pressures, but since it's relatively
close, I could drive there just about any time.
Let's see... I would like to get
12 Giddy Rivers
8 Utchee Creeks
At $5/fish (I presume) that's $100.
Are the "Hunters Creek" a M. s. s.? I may have some more space
after this weekend (our auction), so I could spring for enough
to fill a 10 gal for a bit (6-8-ish?).
How does that sound? I could drive down and pick them up some
evening, or overnight them, whichever is most convenient.
Related subjects: I can tell now that the the 5 fish I have are
utchee's and the 22 (rough counting) are papuae's. They're
starting to get their color. I just moved the utchee's to a well
planted tank, and they seem very shy to the light. The irianjaya
in a similar tank don't seem to mind at all.
Other related subject: I've tried to contact Cary for some time
now, without success. Have you heard from him lately?
