You can kill them on plants with alum (aluminium sulphate if I remember
correctly). I can't remember what dosage, but it was a ten minute dip. That
would mean cleaning out the ponds though..... Most commercial anti snail
stuff I have seen is copper based, which is not nice to either fish or plants
typically.
