I've had a lot of problems with the little egg-eating monsters in my tanks.

Recently, I have seen some modest, if not 100%, improvement with a
"biological cure." I'm using clown loaches. Some other loaches (zebra?) have
an even better rep for eating snails and leaving plants alone.

I hear that most puffers are also eager snail eaters. Mollies and others
will gradually kill all ramshorn and pond snails, but find the trumpet
snails just too hard to crack. The loaches audibly overcome that problem --
CRUNCH! (^_^)
