On the description supplied by Dennis I am not at all sure that they are
Planarians - I don't recall ever seeing them swimming like eels, more
gliding along surfaces

I have seen free-swimming small worms similar to larger versions of vinegar
eels occasionally but am unaware of their identity or significance.
