Oh, I've been here before but had to leave due to a mail over load.
I couldn't handle the millions of lists I was on and had to shed all
but the killie lists. I'm a killi nut but I'm slowly being brain washed by
the 'bows. Don't think I've had a fish as nice as praecox and that
includes all my killies.

In which case I more than likely have the rubros.
Has any one any idea on their status in the hobby (internationally)?
Is any one breeding them commercially? How common are they?
Which splendida are spawned commercially?

Perhaps the australia example was a bad choice. It takes about 10
days from anywhere. Still all the nice stuff is in Australia...
Shipping eggs in my winter normally extends the incubation a day
or two which makes it slightly feasable. The big problem comes in
when some of the eggs fungus and kill off the rest. My friend and I
have gone through numerous shipments of werneri and mellis this
way.
In the technique described in Allen's book, are the eggs imersed in
water or are they just send in the test tune on damp yawn?

Perhaps...

Thanks for the info
