In my area we had a bad ice storm and I lost power for 6 days. I have only
5 tanks set up and the smaller tanks were not as big a problem as the
larger ones. I live in an area where in the last 20 years I have never
lost power for more than 12 hours. I was wondering what people do in this
case?
What I did was float bags of hot water on the tanks in an effort to keep
the water warm, I was not as concerned about air, but keeping the temp up
was an effort since the house temp got down to 50 degrees F and lower
during the day.
