In my eight aquariums I have been breeding most killies the last years.
I am a member of the Scandinavian Killiefish Association, and usually
take part in their international Killie Show in Kopenhagen every year. I
am also breeding a very beautiful goby named Tateurndina ocellicauda.
Now I am also interested in rainbowfishes. In october I bought small
schools of Melanotaenia praecox and Pseudomugil gertrudae in zoological
shops in Gothenburg. I have my M. praecox in a community aquarium (165
litres) together with different killies, platies and alga eaters. The P.
gertrudae, which are smaller and more shy, are in a 74-litre aquarium
with a few Tateurndina ocellicauda and Aphyosemion dargei. I have not
breeded any rainbowfishes yet, but I will enjoy all information I can
get about breeding the two species I have. Since a half year I am a
member of the Scandinavian Rainbow and Goby Association, but we are only
two members in sweden and also not too many in Norway and Denmark.
