Thanks for explaining, I joined the list right as it started and I was
like, "whoa...what in the world?" Not the best first impression, but then
I visited their pages and could see how committed and knowledgeable they
are and figured it was just a bumping of heads.
I had a worse experience with another list, a list for parents of children
with a certain birth defect, and there was an ongoing war between two
groups. I'm glad to learn this isn't like that.
It's one of those things, I think people say things in email that they
would hesitate to say in person and there's no intonation to give context
to the words so there's always misunderstandings :-)
