My tap water has a KH of 1 degree of KH hardness but I would love to have
it around 5 degrees, if I add a KH builder type chemical my PH goes up to
something over 8 which is to high for even the ugly fish in my tank... when
I leave the water alone and allow the KH to stay at 1 degree and my PH
hovers around 7.0-7.2 my fish are happy but not happy enough for spawning
and my plants and certainly not as happy as when the water is 5 degrees of
KH or higher...
So, in conclusion I am stumped and stoned... or as I usually say in the
immortal words of one of the US greatest statesman Patrick Henry ----
GIVE ME AMBIGUITY ----
OR GIVE ME SOMETHING ELSE....
