Don't make the tank too small. I have some that I tried to raise up in a
ten gallon tank with some P. gertrudae. They started shredding the gerts.
So I added some small C. bleri (1.25 in) thinking they were much faster and
they also got their fins nipped. Just watch and if they don't work out
you'll have to remove them.

I have been wondering whether peacock gudgeon would be suited to keep in a
planted community tank with small peaceful fish? Every article I've read
focusses on breeding. Thoughts anyone?

Regards & happy new year !
