Hi,

Regretfully, I must report the demise of a nice pair of *Chlamydogobius
eremius* that I recently got through the BAKA auction. [The seller was
S. Polk.]

I'm hoping this list has the folks who can tell me what *not* to do next
time.

Water was 300 ppm tds (about 2/3 of that carbonates). It was slowly
adjusted from their original water over a period of a couple of days. pH
was 7.4. Well aged UGF was present, along with Java moss to assure good
water conditions. They only lasted a couple of weeks so only one (or at
most two) partial water changes had been done.

Cover was the moss, plus a piece of gray PVC pipe (new) and an inverted
potpourri candle holder.

Feeding was heavily bbs plus whatever my killies/rainbows, etc. normally
get. It is winter, so adult Artemia are scarce, but they got live
blackworms and frozen bloodworms. Only a little dry food was offered.

TIA, if any of you can spot what I did wrong.

Wright
