No much right near Townsville other than blue eyes. There are some nice
gudgeons and many gobies in that area but who cares about them. You'd need to
travel up into the upper Burdekin to get some nicer rainbows or the Atherton
Tablelands. There are plenty of "tropical" fish there in town. :-) You
could almost imagine yourself in Central America.
