What I do is get a fine-meshed fishnet and dip it into the vinegar eels then dip
it into a glass of water from the fry raising tank. I do this a couple of times
and end up with thousands of them in the water, which I can then add a little
prepared fry food too if I like, swirl it around and dump it in the fry tank. I
don't think I get much acidification of the fry water like this.

how do you harvest the vinegar eels? i found that putting them through
coffee filters and then rinsing in water from the tank and then pouring
the water into the tank to be more trouble than i need.
