Hello Marcel
You better check with your source for the signifer requirements. I
find some collection locations really require some salt. Others don't
at all. I guess that's what happens when they call every new little
fish with blue-eyes found in Australia a signifer :)
I would think paskai, gertrudae, or mellis would make your best bets,
if you're keeping the corys in the typical soft acidic water. If
you're keeping them in harder alkaline water then connieae, furcatus
or a signifer that doesn't require salt to do well would be your
choice. I think much will depend on th requirements of the cory you
pick. A wild cory from soft tanic waters is going to need more
specialized water conditions than a domestic raised cory many
generations in.
