Hello there,
it's good to know there's another person out there who knows how
wonderful Chlamydogobius and ALL other gobies are! be assured though, that my
house and backyard contain rainbowfish. And there's even a M. maccullochi in the
goby tank in my lab.
by the way, I'm not yet a Dr.

Alan - can you make a note of this - we do need to add something like
this to the newinfo FAQ, I will forget if you don't remind me ;)

I think that these days Alan is probably the more patient of the pair -
I am spending a lot of time at my new job and have become quite
"assertive" ;) as a result... there are certain smallminded parties who
would appear to be trying to goad Alan and I into closing the list down
- which we can do in about 30 keystrokes, by the by, and two
mouse-clicks ;)

But that is NOT going to happen, as I shall not give them the
satisfaction! I know that Alan feels the same way.

Thanks to all the authors of the messages of support, it's the little
things like this that make the occasional ill-feeling well worthwhile!

Now that we have Dr Larson on the list, I feel that it is time to move
onto more important things, like Genus Chlamydogobius! ;) Which everyone
knows, are *far* more interesting than those boring Rainbowfish! ;) ;)

Regards, Andrew Boyd
