Mike yours too is a thankless job but look at it this way: how did you
arrive at your heightened awareness? Someone somwhere made a
lasting impression on you. So if you can do that to just a few of your
customers then you've succeeded. So few stores even try to do this.

You have to educate the consumer as to what they want. People
appreciate quality if they can undestand how to judge it. How about
setting up a display of really crappy fish and hybrids with the caption "
Sorry we are not for sale today or any other day" !!
