Dianne,

Your fish will be fine on your 4 day trip. Just feed them normally before
you leave and feed them normally on the fourth day when you get back. This
will not work for fry, however.

In my opinion seven days is a bit too long to leave your fish unfed. A
trick I learned from rooster is to put mops in your tanks about a week
before you go and leave them in while you are away. The bows will lay eggs
and eat the eggs and the fry. This will keep them happy until you get back.
I did try this and I seemed to work really well.
