I'm not sure what fish you are seeing, but several years ago a friend,
Charley Grimes, was visiting some fish farms in Florida. He noticed that the
fish grown in outdoor ponds were more red than he had ever seen. He also has
a strain that he has been keeping for many years that is more red than
orange. So, what your seeing may be related to these fish.
