I think Peter and Alan both have made good suggestions - as I think about
this it seems obvious that this situation is exactly as Gordon would want
it. He can post to the list with his ill-informed non-specific rantings and
doesn't have to view our replies, even in the unlikely event that he would
wish to.

Maybe next time his application for membership may not be granted :-)

I personally would not let him rejoin, but then thankfully the decision
is not mine...
