No, that particular report didn't cover the whole year but a recent study on
the diet of rainbowfishes was conducted across all seasons and the results
will show a very high terrestrial insect diet. (you will appreciate that
this report has not been published yet) Also if you read Allen's description
on new rainbowfishes where he has conducted a gut examination you will find
that in almost all occasion the results have shown a very high terrestrial
insect content.
