True, this forum is not for political discussion. I just thought the information in this article was relevant to what we are dealing with: keeping and loving rainbowfish -> interest for nature and environment -> concern with conservation issues (to put it in very broad terms). That seems a logical progression to me.
What I found scary in this article, is that evidence is mounting that these developments are man-made, and that they are not "catastrophes" (i.e. per definition, something that is out of our control). That is, WE are responsible. So, I suppose that down the line, nearly everything nowadays on this planet goes back to politics: decision made by men and women that affect other men and women, and the environment they are living in..
But enough said, I suppose..
