what have i learned? that boesemanni are dumber than betta pugnax and congo
tetras? the other 3 boesemanni and the rest of the fish did not die, the
crickets were small ones, not much bigger than flies.
i should clarify that i did lose the debauwi cat from choking on a roach but
that the giraffe cat overate then "exploded," i.e., died of gastric
complications. other people in the catfish list told me they had also lost
catfish from overeating and especially to be careful with dry foods that can
expand once in the gut.
