Today I went to Leanyer to have a look for fry but was unable to get out
onto the mudflats because they were all under water from rain caused by a
cyclone just to the north of us. I went to the edge of the flooded area
but did not see fish of any species. They have been well diluted. The
flood water was fresh rainwater. I will have a look there agian in a
couple of weeks.
