Never, ever, ever had a problem with chloramine, though it is in my
water supply. In fact, though I think Amquel is an excellent product
and should definitely work, I use an even cheaper product (name escapes
me now) and have never seen a problem. Further, when I do water
changes, I add the new water directly to the tank along with the
de-chlor, so there is no sitting or premixing. Even with 50+% water
changes, I don't see a problem. How can your friend be sure that
chloramine is his problem? What were the symptoms in the fish prior to
expiration?
