Here is a reply from Norbert Grunwald in Germany re the product "Dactycid"
You'll have to forgive the "Broken English" ;-)
Adrian.
"To your question about "Dactycid". At the paper inside of the box is none
description about the parts of the medicament. Only descriptions for use. But
against hydra, planaria and other worms, and if you do a higher concentration,
also against snails, we since a longer term use a different medicament. The
name
is "Flubenol 5%". Is's much cheaper than "Dactycid" and we can buy it at
Germany.
The disadvantage ist you have to buy less 600 gramms. We buy it with a
couple of
members and shares it. I use it as powder which I shake into a litte bit of
water, and then put it into the tank. About the peak of a knife for 20 l Water.
It doesn't make problems if you take a bit too much.
If you need it against inside worms or gillworms you have to dissolve it before
using. Thereto you need Dimethylsulfoxid (DMSO). For 100 l Aquariawater you
need
200 mg Flubenol 5% which you before dissolve inti 5 - 10 ml DMSO. After 5 - 8
days should anything be O.K. and you should do a waterchange. If needed for
example for eggs of the pest, once again after 2 - 3 weeks."
