Hi Dan, with a bit of luck it's not the start of an ulcer. I'll let
the other guys treat you to a scientific rundown on what does and
doesn't cause Rainbowfish Ulcer Disease, but I've never had a fish
recover from it.

What does the pipmple look like? Normally ulcers start out as a small
blemish, like a couple of scales missing.

I have a medium sized male Boesemani that has what looks like a small
pimple on its belly. Any idea what this is and how to treat it ?
